The Account Coordinator is an entry level Account Service position and an opportunity to launch a career in the exhilarating world of advertising and marketing on a global brand. The H/L Oakland office is looking for a self-starter that loves to learn and get stuff done. You will be an integral part of a dynamic Account Services team on a global brand and responsible for assisting with the development and execution of fully integrated marketing programs. This position provides a comprehensive experience on a full-service account where you will develop skills and expertise in media, creative development, broadcast and digital production and much more.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client meeting preparation: Client meeting planning and coordination and meeting minutes.
- Campaign summaries and asset gathering for proof of performance submissions
- Creative production: Work with the Account service team and internal teams to learn the Agency’s creative production process/jobs, which includes opening jobs, processing estimates and invoices and update weekly Agency production status docs.
- Competitive: Monitor creative competitive landscape and develop presentations
- Trafficking: Manage creative trafficking across all campaigns, talent reports, and reconciliation
- Billing: work with the Agency’s billing team to process of client and production invoices, job closings, and client estimates
- Client relationships: begin to manage relationships with clients, vendors, and promotional partners
- Assist with backend maintenance and management of client websites
- Assist with other projects
QUALIFICATIONS
- Marketing or account service experience preferred, within an agency or marketing department
- Proficiency with Google Documents, Word, Excel, experience with Photoshop and Premiere is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly attentive to details, accuracy, and numbers for managing budgets and projects
- Proven ability to follow through on tasks and projects from start to finish
- Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, public relations, communications, or a related field
- A passion for the marketing and advertising industry
