H&L PARTNERS: Account Coordinator 

H&L Partners is looking for an Account Coordinator to join our Account Services team. The Account Coordinator is an integral part of a dynamic account service team that is

responsible for assisting with the development and execution of fully integrated marketing programs.

Overall, the candidate will:

  • Learn the agency production/creative workflow process
  • Gain an understanding of the client’s business, category, industry, competition
  • Gain an understanding of media planning and marketing calendar management
  • Learn billing process, estimates, POs

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client Meeting Prep: Client meeting and coordination, including voting recaps, meeting minutes, and other details
  • Status: Weekly client status reports
  • Creative Production: Work with account executive and internal teams to assist with the agency creative production process/jobs, which includes but is not limited to, opening jobs, obtaining legal approvals, processing of POs and invoices, and updating the weekly agency production grid
  • Competitive:  Monitor creative competitive landscape and develop reports
  • Trafficking: Manage creative trafficking across all campaigns, talent reports, and reconciliation on Strata
  • Billing: Regularly meet with the agency billing team to ensure timely and accurate processing of client and production invoices, job closings, client estimates
  • Budget: Work with account executive and team to understand how the budget is developed and updated
  • Client Relationships: Start to develop strong relationships with clients, vendors, and promotional partners
  • Assist with other projects

CLIENT-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Learn the ins and outs of retail merchandising on the McDonald’s account
  • Merchandising: Work with the assistant account executive to maintain all merchandising projects, including weekly marketing emails and monthly communications. Work with vendors to coordinate digital menu board and POP files.
  • Quick-service restaurant (QSR) account experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with the geography and diverse culture of Georgia
  • Willingness to travel one or two days per month (mostly within Georgia) for in-person meetings

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Marketing or account service experience preferred, within an agency or marketing department
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite — able to create, edit, and format Word documents

Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly attentive to details, accuracy, and numbers for managing budgets and projects
  • Proven ability to follow through on tasks and projects from start to finish
  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, public relations, communications, or a related field
  • A passion for the marketing and advertising industry
