The Senior Programmatic Media Specialist manages the key day-to-day campaigns by providing strategy and working with partners with media buys. This is a hands-on keyboard position in a team-supportive environment. The Senior Programmatic Specialist is organized, detailed-oriented, proactive, and able to meet deadlines. The person in this role may provide marketing strategies and should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.



  • Develop media strategy for programmatic campaigns
  • Manage programmatic campaigns from setup, execution, optimization, and reporting to the clients’ KPIs, which vary by campaign types and objectives
  • Work closely with vendors to optimize campaigns to platform best practices
  • Actively monitor and evaluate campaign performance in platforms, leveraging insights and trends, and provide data-backed recommendations to the Media team
  • Budget pacing and management of overall budgets
  • Work collaboratively with Media Planners, Analytics, and Agency partners to meet or exceed campaign KPIs and provide new solutions for clients
  • Attend client optimization meetings to review campaign performance, insights, and optimizations
  • Keen understanding of the advertising landscape, including real-time bidding, programmatic offerings, and transaction models
  • Train other team members in digital marketing best practices
  • Keep up with industry trends and share with team



  • 2+ years of experience managing and executing programmatic media campaigns on DSPs, such as DV360, Amobee, and The Trade Desk
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentational skills
  • Experience interacting with vendors and clients
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel—able to manage large spreadsheets and analyze data in an efficient way
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with remote team members
  • Flexible and proven ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with concurrent and competing deadlines
  • Consistently meet campaign, project, and client deadlines
  • Remain current in a quickly evolving industry
  • Strong ability to prioritize workflows
  • Comprehensive knowledge of programmatic buying, campaign management, audience segmentation, ad targeting, and optimization techniques
  • Bachelor’s degree



  • Is meticulous, conscientious, and performs their work with a sense of urgency.
  • Has a strong proficiency of all digital media disciplines and strives to be an expert in programmatic media.
  • Has superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Has a strong working knowledge of DSPs and programmatic ad buying in an RTB environment.
