The Talent Payment Manager is an integral part of our production department. As the agency’s paymaster, you will manage all talent payments across multiple formats and platforms. This is an opportunity to build a career in Business Affairs within an independent full-service ad agency that’s been in the industry for over 35 years.

 

More of what you will do:

  • You’re the main point of contact for talent payment-related questions
  • Manage all talent payments for TV, radio, social video, online, and broadcast content
  • Maintain systems and schedules for processing payments accurately and in a timely manner
  • Track holding fees, cycle expirations, and other talent-related timelines
  • Enter payment information into the Extreme Reach online platform
  • Collect and review talent invoices, documents, and contracts
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams located in all US time zones
  • Responsible for meeting all client, agency and SAG deadlines

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of payment processing in Accounting or Payroll
  • Working knowledge of the SAG commercials contracts and union payroll is a plus
  • Excellent people and communication skills
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Flexibility! Because production work does not always happen between the hours of 9 to 5
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work independently as well as with teams, in-person, and virtually
  • Proficient with MS Office and Google workspace, as well as video meeting spaces such as Zoom
  • Bachelor’s Degree (College-level business courses or equivalent work experience may be considered)
